While Postcards was recorded and produced much in the same way
as the last album – Wear The Happy Face – the two couldn't be more different. Rhythms have been destructured, melodies turned into slow drones. The mood is mellow and melancholic.
Postcards is an album about memory, about visiting places that leave a deep mark in your soul, places you sometimes miss more than home.
Created with Nanoloop for iOS and field recordings made in Japan, Greece and Italy, edited, mangled, mixed and remixed in Ableton Live.
